| The Cancer Academy North is an educational institution in Umeå, Northern Sweden.
The Academy was founded by the two local cancer research foundations, Cancer Research of Northern Sweden and Lion's Cancer Research Foundation at Umeå University.
By a grant available from the Lion's Cancer Research Foundation at Umeå University, the Academy runs and supports educational activities in the various fields relating to the care of cancer patients.
The overall goal of these activities is to increase the knowledge and awareness about cancer and cancer patients.
The courses are directed to all categories of people involved in research, treatment, nursery, and care of cancer patients.
